BEI inc. was incorporated in January of 2000.
Designed as a completely self-contained TV production company (Remote Packager) that delivers High Definition programming for broadcast.

Our Field Production units use the Sony PDW F350 XDCAM for our Main Cameras and the Sony ZIU for our POV and Underwater Cameras. We employ K5600 Joker Bug HMIs on every shoot as well as a full field audio package and audio engineer.

Our Post Production facility located in Temecula has six state-of-the-art HD edit bays capable of ingesting and mastering multiple formats.

Our Ocean Documentary productions employ the use of the Sony ZIU and BlueFin HD Underwater Housing by Light and Motion to capture the stunning HD images seen on Speargun Hunter.

In 1995, while working for ESPN and ABC Wide World of Sports, Robin Berg decided to dedicate his professional life to mastering digital television production. Today with over 350 TV shows, including over 200 HDTV shows that he has personally directed and produced for a wide variety of TV Networks including The Outdoor Channel / ESPN/ESPN2 / OLN / and Fox Sports, Robin Berg and the BEI Team continue to create, produce and deliver exciting High-Defintion Programming.


 

His production skills include editing, director of photography and videography, although he now spends most of his time as a field-director and producer

Although Robin Berg has directed a wide range of TV shows, His love today for Ocean and Marine Life HDTV Production actually began many years ago as a US Navy Deep sea diver and longtime sport diver. Robin Berg also studied Oceanography at the University of Hawaii in 1979
Robin Berg was also Vin Diesel’s Skysurfing Stunt-Double in the major motion picture Triple-X.
